enemy in globalised world

I read about this globalisation on this blog http://churumuri.wordpress.com/ - he quotes an article by former US attorney general Ramsey Clark in The Hindu: * i havent read the full article but what is quoted initially had struck me some time back about another creeping syndrome that we all have got affected by. Earlier we had a physical conquerors like the british, french, spanish persons. Now we are getting conquered (and dont even realise) by american organisations (mainly USA), the british, japanese etc. When we want to eat we think of mcdonalds, the KFC, etc. for perfume, it is the french ones- similar with other stuff such as mutual funds (mostly americans and japanese), lingo use of words such as last mile, inc - we normally use kilometres and ltd company (not Inc which is used by americans), our food of course has changed in many ways to dry food - pizzas, sandwich, burger, hot dogs, etc. - lunch ordered during meetings are invariably dry food- i mean we cannot have working lunch with biryanis? Look at the outsourcing world.. it is also owned by non indians within India.. what about software products - again owned by non-indians (mostly) and made by Indians, what about the mutual fund industry - owned by non-indians and run very well by indians
I am not saying globalisation is not good - i love to use best things in the world - does it mean i must change my food habits, my clothing and personal accessories?
and if we have to use global best stuff, can we not learn from the silicon valley and bring out a crowd (not bunch) of entrepreneurs who can produce world class products and services from India - who can create the best software, who can run and own the best restaurants, who can own and run the best clothing and accessories industry, mutual fund business , insurance and so on
